I've used the JLG 1930ES for a couple of projects recently. It's a solid machine. The direct DC Electric Drive really extends the battery life; I managed to go through a full day's work and still had charge left. I worked with a JLG 1930ES for a few weeks last year, and honestly, it’s solid. The electric drive is quiet, which makes life easier indoors, and the controls are simple - you’ve got controls both up top and down below so you don’t have to keep climbing up and down. The platform is roomy enough, especially with the extension. One gripe though, when you’ve got that platform extended, the weight limit drops. Had a few times where my gear and I were pushing that. Speed wise, it moves fast enough at ground level, but once you’re up, it crawls, so you’re not repositioning quickly, but that’s pretty standard for these types. Maintenance was easy, new batteries on ours meant we never had juice issues. All around, it’s easy to run, just keep an eye on your weight if you extend the platform.
